Delete your account

Overview

You can permanently delete your FarangAmongUs account directly from the mobile app. Deletion is irreversible: you will no longer be able to sign in, and your private data (including your email address) will be erased.

If you only want a temporary break, use Pause my account in the same settings screen instead of deleting. Pausing hides you from the map and stops business notifications while keeping your account and conversations.

Step-by-step (in the app)

1. Open FarangAmongUs and sign in.
2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Tap the settings icon at the top of the Profile screen.
4. Scroll down to the Account section.
5. Read the warning, then tap Delete my account.
6. In the dialog, check I understand this action is irreversible.
7. Tap Delete permanently.
8. A 6-digit verification code is sent to your account email. Enter the code in the app.
9. Tap Verify and delete.
10. Your account is deleted and you are signed out. A confirmation message is shown on screen.

What happens to your data

Removed or anonymised: your email, authentication access, notification preferences, languages, and other private profile fields. You cannot sign in again with the same account.

Conversations: existing chats may be anonymised for the other participant (your nickname may no longer be shown as an active contact).

Community trace: if you ordered a physical sticker, you may have accepted that your nickname and sticker can remain visible as a community trace after deletion (as explained at order time and in our Privacy Policy). Your sticker status becomes inactive and you disappear from the map and mosaic.

Pending activity: pending spot requests involving your account are cancelled. Partner listings linked to your account are deactivated.
